The Commission started the procedure of filling the application form for the Steno grade C and D Exam on 22nd October 2018. SSC Recruitment 2018 For Steno Posts – Application Process To Close Next Week
The Staff Selection Commission released the official notification for the Stenographer Grade C and D Exam on 22nd October and the filling of application form started on the same day. Now almost half of the time period to fill the application form has gone and only week has left. The Commission will end the process of filling the application form on 19th November 2018. After the last date, the link to apply online will be de-activated.
The last date for the receipt of the application form is 19th November till 5 pm. The candidates can make the payment of the application fee online till 5 pm on 21st November. If the candidates opted to pay the fee offline via Challan, then the last date is 26th November 2018. But candidates must ensure that they will generate the Challan on or before 5 pm on 21st November 2018. The Staff Selection Commission will conduct the Computer Based Examination for the post of Stenographer Grade C and D from 1st Feb 2019 to 6th Feb 2019.
SSC Recruitment 2018 For Steno Posts – Other Details
In the official notification of SSC Steno exam 2018, the Staff Selection Commission has not mentioned the details of vacancies. The vacancies for the post of Steno Grade C and D posts will be notified later on on the official website. For the Grade C Steno posts, the lower age limit is 18 years and the upper age is 30 years and for the Grade D posts, the minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum is 30 years.
Age relaxation for the reserved category candidates is also there. For the SC/ST, there is a 5 years age relaxation in upper age limit. For the OBC category, there is a 3 years age relaxation and for the PWD category candidates, there is a 10 years age relaxation in the upper age limit, OBC category candidates of PWD will get 13 years and SC/ST of PWD will get 15 years of age relaxation.
The candidates of General Category and OBC category applying for the SSC Steno Exam 2018 will have to pay the application fee of Rs 100. The fee can be paid via online and Offline mode. Candidates of SC/ST, PWD and Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
