SSC Recruitment 2018: Staff Selection Commission on 28th September extended the last date for the SSC Selection Posts Recruitment 2018. The Commission released the notification on the official website regarding the same. Now candidates can apply for the same for more days. Now the last date for the application process is 5th October.
Earlier, the last date for the SSC Selection Posts recruitment was 30th September. Staff Selection Commission was going to close the application process of SSC GD Constable Exam and SSC Selection Posts Exam 2018 on the same date i.e 30th September. But now, the last date is extended for the Selection Posts. The official notice is available on the website of SSC.
SSC Recruitment 2018 For Selection Posts Last Dates Extended
The reason why the Staff Selection Commission extended the last date of the Selection Posts is the technical issue on the website while applying for the Selection Posts Exam 2018. The Commission said in the notice that some candidates faced problems while applying for the Exam. And for the convenience of the candidates, the last date has been extended.
Now the candidates who are 10th pass, 12th pass of Graduate can apply for the SSC Selection Posts Phase VI till 5th October. The last date to pay the fee for the exam is also extended to 8th October 2018. But all the candidates applying for the exam keep this in mind that the application fee has to be paid in the form of Challan (SBI) and the challan must be generated before the closing date of application.

The candidates of General and OBC Category will have to pay Rs 100 as application fee for the Staff Selection Commission Recruitment for Selection Posts. There is no application fee for female candidates and candidates of SC/ST and PH. The fee must be paid via Challan only.
According to the official notification of Staff Selection Commission, there are almost 1136 vacancies in SSC for the Selection posts. These vacancies are for the Matric Pass, 12th Pass, and Graduate Pass candidates. The selection of the candidates for the post will be on the basis of Written Exam.
