SSC Recruitment 2018 For Constable -Important Dates
As per the official notification, the starting date for the SSC Constable Recruitment is 21st July but the Commission postponed it to 17th August due to some issues in website. The application window to apply online is now open and candidates can fill the application form. The last date to fill the application form is 17th September 2018. Candidates are advised to fill the online application form on or before the last date.
All the candidates applying for the Constable Recruitment 2018 are advised to first register themselves on the new SSC Website. Without registration candidates will not be able to apply.
SSC Recruitment 2018 – Application Fees, Vacancies & All Other Important Details
Application Fees: The application Fee for the online application for the SSC Constable Recruitment 2018 is Rs.100 for the General and the OBC Category candidates. The candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from the application fees. The applications of the candidates will be rejected if received without the application fee.
Vacancies: According to the official notification of Staff Selection Commission for the SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2018, there are total 54953 vacancies for the post of Constable in CAPFs, NIA, SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. Out of these vacancies, there are total 47307 vacancies for the male candidates and 7646 vacancies for the female candidates.
Age Limit: The minimum age limit to apply for the post of Constable is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 23 years. Candidates born before 2nd August 1995 and later than 1st August 2000 are not eligible to apply. Age relaxation is as per the rules.
