SSC Steno Exam 2018: Last month, the Staff Selection Commission started the procedure to fill the application form for the SSC Steno Exam 2018. Now only one day has left to fill the application form. The candidates who haven’t applied yet for the Steno Exam are advised to fill the application form online now.
SSC Steno Exam 2018 – Last Date For Application
The last date to fill the application form for the SSC Steno Exam 2018 is 19th November 2018. then link to apply online will be deactivated after 19th November. To recall, Staff Selection Commission started the process of filling the application form online on 22nd October 2018. After the application form candidates will get few days to pay the application fee.
If the candidates have chosen to pay the application fee for the exam online, then the last date is 21st November 2018 till 5 pm and if the candidates have chosen to pay the application fee offline, then the last date to pay the fee is 26th November 2018. After this time period, the candidates won’t be able to pay the application fee. The candidates who are going to pay the application fee offline must have generated the Challan on or before 5 pm on 21st November 2018.
SSC Steno Exam 2018
The Staff Selection Commission will conduct the Stenographer Exam 2018 from 1st February to 6th February. The exam will be a Computer Based Examination. As of now, there are no details regarding the vacancies for the post of Stenographer Grade C and D posts. The vacancies in SSC for Steno posts will be announced later on.
For the Stenographer Grade C the age limit is 18 to 30 years and for the Stenographer Grade D, the age limit is 18 to 27 years. The Scheduled Caste candidates and the ST category candidates will get 5 years age relaxation while for the OBC category, there is a 3 years relaxation in the upper age. PWD category candidates will get 10 years age relaxation.
The candidates must have passed the 12th class examination to apply for the examination of Stenographer. The application fee for the post of Stenographer is Rs 100 and this fee is only payable by General and OBC category candidates. Also, there is no application fee for the women category candidates.
