SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2018 Exam Notification to be Out in September | Check All Details

SSC Stenographer 2018 Exam: Staff Selection Commission has released the examination calendar on 12th July in which the revised dates for the upcoming exams are shared by the commission. According to the revised SSC examination calendar 2018, Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC Stenographer Grade C & D notification in the month of September. SSC Stenographer 2018 Exam Notification

According to the latest SSC Examination Calendar for the year 2018, the official notification for the SSC Stenographer exam will be out in the month of September. Earlier it was expected that the commission will release the official notification for the SSC Steno Exam 2018 in July.

The official notification and the online application process for the SSC Steno exam 2018 will begin from 29th September. The last date to fill the online application for the SSC Steno Exam for Grade C and Grade D will be 22nd October. the exam dates for the SSC Steno Exam 2018 will be notified later on.

SSC Stenographer Exam Details

Every year Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC Stenographer exam. The selection of the candidates is based on the performance in the Computer-Based Examination and the Skill test. All those candidates who clear the Computer Based Exam will be shortlisted to call for the Skill test.

The Computer-Based Exam for the SSC Steno Exam will have 3 parts. These parts are – General intelligence & reasoning, English Language & Comprehension, and General Awareness. The General Awareness and Intelligence will have 50 questions and there will be 100 questions from the English Langauge and Comprehension. Staff Selection Commission will give 2 hours to candidates to attempt 200 questions.

All the questions in the Computer Based Examination for the SSC Steno Exam will be Objective Multiple Choice Type. The questions will be also in Hindi except in English Subject. For every wrong answer, there will be negative marking. The qualified candidates in the CBE exam for Steno will be called for the Skill Test. All the candidates who qualify the skill test will be recommended for the appointment by the Staff Selection Commission on the basis of total marks in CBE.
