Staff Selection Commission has started the process of filling the application form for the post of SSC Stenographer Grade C and D posts online on the official website. The candidates can now fill the application form online on the website. The process of filling the examination form started on 22nd October 2018.
The last date to completely fill and submit the application form is 19th November 2018. The examination fee can be paid online till 21st November 2018 while the candidates can pay the application fee offline till 26th November 2018. the exam date for the Stenographer exam is from 1st Feb to 6th Feb 2019. The details regarding the vacancies for the post of Stenographer Grade C and Grade D will be notified later on, on the official website of SSC.
SSC Stenographer Exam 2018 Examination Scheme
Staff Selection Commission will conduct the CBT Exam for the selection of candidates for the Stenographer Posts Grade C and Grade D from 1st Feb to 6th Feb 2019. The CBT Exam of the Steno Grade C and Grade D will have total 3 parts and time duration to attempt the Paper is only 2 hours.
Part 1 of the question paper will have total 50 questions of 50 marks from the Subject General Intelligence and Reasoning. The part 2 of the Paper will have total 50 questions of 50 marks from the General Awareness section. The third part is English Language and Comprehension part and in this part, there will be 100 questions of 100 marks.
The question paper of the SSC Stenographer Exam will be objective MCQ’s type. The questions in Part 1 and Part 2 will be in English as well as Hindi. The third part will be in English only. Candidates appearing in the exam keep this in mind that there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
The selected candidates in the CBT Exam will be called for the Skill Test Exam. The Skill test exam for the Stenographer post will be qualifying in nature and Staff Selection Commission will fix the qualifying standards.
