The candidates who want to apply for the post of Stenographer in SSC can check the details in the official notification and then apply online for the same. SSC Stenographer recruitment 2018 – Mode of Selection
Staff Selection Commission will call all the candidates whose applications are found to be in order for the Computer Based Examination. The candidates will have to download the admit cards for the exam from the official website. No admit card will be sent by post or any other method to the candidates.
Staff Selection Commission will issue the admit cards online for all the stages of the exam on the official website. The candidates who are applying for the SSC Stenographer exam 2018 will have to mention the posts for which they are applying. They will have to indicate Grade C or Grade D or both.
The selection of the candidates will be based on the marks scored by the candidates. Staff Selection Commission will shortlist the candidates category wise to appear in the skill test. The Skill test for the Stenographer exam is mandatory but it is qualifying in nature. The SSC will fix the qualifying standard in the Skill test for each post. All those candidates who will clear the Skill test will be considered for the final selection.

Staff Selection Commission started the procedure of filling the application form for the post of Stenographer Grade C and D on 22nd October 2018. The candidates who want to apply for these vacancies in SSC can fill their application form till 19th November on the official website of SSC. After the last date, no form will be accepted by the Commission.
After the filling of the application form candidates will have to pay the application fee. The candidates can pay the application fee via online mode or offline mode. If the candidates want to pay the fee via online mode then the last date is 21st November 2018 and if they choose to pay the fee offline then the last date is 26th November 2018.
