SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2018: Staff Selection Commission will release the notification for the SSC Stenographer Exam 2018 on 29th September. The candidates can check the official website of SSC on or after 29th September for the details regarding the exam and application process.
It is not yet sure, whether the notification will be out or not. As per the official examination calendar of Staff Selection Commission, the notification releasing date for the SSC Stenographer Grade C and D exam is 29th September. SSC hasn’t released the notification for the JHT Exam yet. So there are chances in the delay of the notification for the SSC Steno Exam 2018.
SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2018 – Starting Date and Last Date
As per the official examination calendar of Staff Selection Commission which was released in the month of July, the official notification for the SSC Steno Grade C and D Exam will be out on 29th September 2018. The process of filling the application form will also start from the same day. The last day of the application process for the SSC Steno Exam 2018 is 22nd October 2018.
Once the official notification for the SSC Steno Exam will be out, candidates can check the same on the official website of Staff Selection Commission. As of now, there are no details regarding the exam dates for the SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Exam 2018.
SSC Stenographer Exam For Grade C & D
Staff Selection Commission is yet to release the official notification for the Stenographer exam 2018. The application fee for the exam will be Rs 100 for the General Category candidates and OBC Category candidates. Other category candidates and female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
Last year in the SSC Stenographer exam 2017, there were total 1705 vacancies. The initial vacancies for the Grade D were 323 but later on, these were updated to 1276. For the Grade C, there was a total 31 vacancies and later on updates to 429. Staff Selection Commission conducts the Steno Exam in two different stages. The first level exam for Stenographer Grade C and D is an MCQ test which is conducted online. The second test is a skill test exam. The candidates are advised to keep an eye on the website of SSC for more updates.
