Staff Selection Commission has declared the result of the SSC Steno Exam 2017 Skill Test. The result was declared on 28th November 2018 on the official website. The candidates who have appeared in the Skill Test can check the result on the official website of SSC with all details. In the SSC Steno Exam Skill Test 2017, more than 13000 candidates appeared for the Grade C and Grade D Skill test exam.
SSC Steno Exam 2017 Skill Test Result
The Staff Selection Commission has declared the result of the written examination for the Steno Grade C and Grade D Exam 2017 in the month of November last year. The result was declared on 21st November 2017. Total 8469 candidates qualified for the Skill Test for the post of Stenographer Grade C and total 15004 candidates qualified for the Skill test for the Stenographer Grade D.
The Staff Selection Commission conducted the Skill Test to select the candidates for the Steno grade C and grade D posts. For the Stenographer Grade C total, 3731 candidates appeared. For the Stenographer Skill test Grade C total 6439 candidates appeared. After the Skill test Staff Selection followed a criteria for the evaluation of Skill Test.
– For the Stenographer Grade C, up to 5% mistakes for UR and 7% mistakes for the reserved categories.
– For the Stenographer Grade D, up to 7% mistakes for UR and up to 10% mistakes for the reserved category candidates.
As per the result, the number of candidates provisionally qualified the Skill Test are – 77 candidates from the SC category, 37 candidates from the SR category, 285 candidates from the OBC category and 202 candidates form the General Category for the Grade C Steno posts. For the Grade D, total 279 candidates qualified from SC category, 138 from ST category, 1202 from OBC category and 592 from the General Category.
SSC Steno Exam 2018
This year Staff Selection Commission started the procedure of filling the application form for the Steno grade C and grade D examination in October. The application process was closed on 20th November 2018. The Staff Selection Commission will conduct the written examination for the SSC Steno Grade C and Grade D in the month of February. In the official notification, the Commission didn’t mention the vacancies for the post of Steno Grade c and Grade D. The vacancies will be announced later on.
