SSC JE Recruitment 2017: Know the Vacancies and Selection Details
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has rolled out a total of 341 vacancies for the Junior Engineer post under Group B for the year 2017. Here are the vacancies details regarding the SSC JE Recruitment 2017- Central Water Commission (9 posts -Civil), CPWD (145- Civil JE posts), MES- Army HQ (93 JE Civil posts and 76 JE Electrical & Mechanical posts), Ministry of Defence (DGQA- Naval: 2 JE Electrical posts and 2 JE Mechanical posts), National Technical Research Organisation (9 post of Civil JE, 3 posts of ELectrical posts and 2 Mechanical JE posts).
Staff Selection Commission has organised the CBT exam for JE Recruitment 2017 in January 2018 and the second exam was held in the month of August 2018. Whereas a total of 1,49,758 appeared for Electrical, 1,94,449 candidates appeared for Mechanical and 2,24,723 for Civil for the year 2017.

Now the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will carry out the selection process for the Junior Engineer post for the year 2017 on the basis of total marks scored by the candidates in paper 1 and 2 as well as the post preference. Whereas in case of a tie, the selection will be resolved by Paper 1 marks, paper 2 marks, alphabetic order and age seniority of the candidates for JE Recruitment 2017.
