Stenographer Exam 2018: Last month, the Staff Selection Commission released the official notification for the SSC Stenographer Exam 2018 on the official website. The Commission released the notice and started the process of filling the application form on the same date. The SSC aspirants who are looking to fill the application form for the Stenographer Grade C & D Exam 2018 are advised that they first check their eligibility in the notification and then apply or fill the application form. Staff Selection Commission the conducting authority of the SSC Stenographer Exam opened the link for filling the application form on 22nd October. The candidates can now fill the application form and the link will remain active till 19th November 2018. After the last date, no application form will be accepted by the Commission. The exam date for SSC Steno Grade C and Grade D is 1st February to 6th February 2019.

For the candidates of General Category and OBC category, the application fee is Rs 100 and this fee can be paid via online or offline mode. Rest of the category candidates including the Women are exempted from application fee. The last date to pay the fee for the exam online is 21st November 2018 and to pay fee offline, the last date is 26th November. the candidates opted to pay examination fee offline must have generated the Challan on or before the last date i.e 21st November 2018.

The applications from the candidates which are found to be in order will be called by Staff Selection Commission for the Computer Based Examination. The admit cards will be uploaded on the website of Staff Selection Commission in the last week of January. The admit cards will not be sent by post to any candidates and this is the responsibility of candidates to download the admit cards from the official website.

Staff Selection Commission will conduct the Computer Based examination in the first week of February 2019. The CBE for the SSC Steno Exam will have 3 parts and all the questions will be objective type. The first part will have questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, the second part will have 50 questions from General Awareness and the third part will have 100 questions from English Language and Comprehension.

The procedure to apply online for the SSC Stenographer Exam 2018 for grade C and grade D posts is simple. The candidates who want to apply will first have to register on the website of the Staff Selection Commission. On the official Website, click on the New Registration on the left side and complete the registration process. Now once again go to the website of SSC and then click on Apply Button. Select SSC Stenographer exam and click on apply. Login with all details and fill the application form.
