Gippy Grewal has depicted the life story of Param Vir Chakra awardee Subedar Joginder Singh in the movie. He has played the role of Subedar Joginder Singh, who commanded 21 Sikh soldiers & fought against 1000s of Chinese soldiers during the Indo-China war in the year 1962. From his personal life to his courage to fight against Chinese army personnel, new Punjabi movie Subedar Joginder Singh depicted it all in just 2 and half hours.

Although the star cast including the newcomers have carried out their part well on screen, but somewhere it has missed something in it. Music has been well executed & event the dialogues have been delivered well. All in all its a one time watch Punjabi movie.
