These days, the news of Sunil Grover bagging a lead role in Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming movie ‘Chhuriyaan’ has brought him into the limelight, making his fans eagerly wait to see him as a protagonist on the big screen.
Sunil Grover to appear in Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Chhuriyaan’
Sunil Grover who had earlier appeared in the movies like Gabbar is back, Heropanti, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Zila Ghaziabad, Ghajni, Baaghi and many more is now playing second innings on television with the character Professor LBW on the show ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan’ along with Bigg Boss 11 winner, Shilpa Shinde. Sunil Grover who took an exit from the Sony TV’s The Kapil Sharma Show last year past their mid-air feud was trying his hands on gags streaming online, making a comic music video, doing stage shows and award functions world wise.
However, it is now after a year, that the actor has tot the big offer from the makers of 7 Khoon Maaf, Haider, Rangoon and Omkara. Vishal Bhardwaj who is a famous name in Bollywood is also a prestigious Filmfare award and National Film Award winner and is now delighted to rope in Sunil Grover for upcoming comedy-drama, ‘Chhuriyaan
Star cast of Chhuriyaan and release date
Talking about the star cast of the film Chhuriyaan, the filmmakers have confirmed the names of Dangal fame, actress Sanya Malhotra and Radhika Lek as female lead along with Vijay Raj who had earlier worked with Vishal Bhardwaj in ‘Dedh Ishqiya’. While informing media about his film, Vishal Bharadwaj mentioned that he is delighted to work with Sunil Grover and Vijay Raj as both are amongst those few artists who are famous in their forte and have never been explored on the big screen as per their caliber. Both of the actors will be given an important role to play that will enhance their talent as artists and will be praised by the audiences.
Though the director Vishal Bhardwaj has not confirmed the release date of the movie Chhuriyaan featuring Sunil Grover in lead but the shooting for the same is likely to hit the floor by the mid of this years.
