Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited has launched the 2017 Suzuki Gixxer And Gixxer SF Special Edition in India. The variants of Gixxer SP 2017 Series feature a ‘tri-colour combination’ on front cowl coupled with futuristic graphics. This special variant is also loaded with a unique Gixxer SP 2017 Emblem on the fuel tank. The exclusive 2017 Series – Gixxer SF SP will also come loaed with ABS and Fuel Injection.
Special about the 2017 Suzuki Gixxer
Coupled with futuristic graphics, the Gixxer SP 2017 Series variants will feature a ‘tri-colour combination’ on front cowl. The fuel tank also gets a unique Gixxer SP 2017 Emblem. Besides these features a host of elements have been added to the variants of Gixxer SP 2017 Series that complement the inherent visual sporty presence of the motorcycles. These special edition models of the Gixxer SP 2017 Series will be available in the new orange black colour scheme.
As per reports, the latest Special Edition variants of the Gixxer SF, with ABS and FI; and Gixxer will further strengthen company’s position in the segment. Suzuki, as a brand, embodies spirit of youthfulness, enthusiasm, and sportiness. In addition to these characteristics, the Gixxer SP 2017 Series also injects fresh thrill and kick into the successful and admired Gixxer motorcycles portfolio. The SP editions will be a perfect blend of tremendous performance, sporty appearance, and a pride of possession.
Specifications of the Suzuki Gixxer SP
In term of mechanicals, both the Suzuki Gixxer SP and the Gixxer SF SP get no motorized changes. The Gixxer SP 2017 Series bikes will carry on to draw power from the existing 154.9 cc single-cylinder engine. The 154.9 cc petrol engine churns out 14.5 bhp at 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 14 Nm at 6000 rpm. The Gixxer SF, was reorganized with fuel injection last year to give the bike a slightly sportier performance. The visible difference in the Gixxer SP 2017 Series will be the distinguishing shades of Orange Black which will be available across Suzuki dealerships.
Price of the special variants
With the launch of Gixxer SP 2017 Series bikes in India, Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited has added new livery to its 150 cc offerings. Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced the Gixxer SP and Gixxer SF SP special edition motorcycles for the youth of the country. The company has priced the variants between the 80 thousand – 1 Lakh price tag. While the Gixxer SF SP (with ABS and FI) is priced at Rs 99,312, the Gixxer SP will come at a price of Rs 81,175. (Both the prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
