Sydney’s Customs House To Be Converted As Coworking Space

The city of Sydney has purchased the heritage listed Customs House from the Australian Government and a new coworking space is all set to come up. One of the most iconic buildings in Sydney will now be converted as a Coworking Space. Although not full, but some levels of the Customs House will be the home for a new Coworking Space.

Located at Circular Quay in Australia, the building has been the home for Customs House for almost 174 years. Also, the building has a rich history and it served as a great gateway for import and exports in Sydney, Australia. Know the details regarding the new Coworking Space Sydney below.

Sydney to get a new Coworking Space Hub Australia soon in the Custom House

One of the best share workspace providers Hub Australia has shown their interest in converting the Customs House into Coworking. According to reports, in December 2018 only Hub Australia has signed the lease paper of the building for 10 years. The company has leased the 3rd and 4th floor of the building to open up new workspace in the city.

Although the council has not yet revealed the rent of the floors leased by Hub Australia for the shared workspace. But they are sure that the sub-lease of 3-4 levels will result in a better rental return from the previous tenancy. Also, it has been projected that the new co-work space will generate revenues of more than $5 million per year.

Hub Sydney coworking in Australia has entered into a lease for the 3rd and 4th floor of the building for 10 years to make it a Coworking Space. According to the project, the company will invest approximately @4.5 million to convert it as Coworking. As per the facility is concerned, it will be 2000 square metres and will accommodate a total of 425 Workers.

As far as the membership prices are concerned with the new workspace, one has to pay over $1000 for a desk per month. Also, it will provide some World Class facilities to their members. As of now the date of inauguration for the same has been revealed, but it will be out soon.
