Tata Motors will soon launch the Tata Nexon AMT In India. The new upcoming Tata Nexon Automatic was first revealed at the Auto Expo 2018 which was held in the month of February. Currently, Nexon is available in India with Manual Transmission but next month the automatic variant of Tata Nexon will arrive in India. The Automatic Tata Nexon will be seen with a new colour Etna Orange paint scheme. Here are the full details and changes in the Automatic variant of Tata Nexon.
Tata Nexon AMT Details
The upcoming Nexon AMT variant comes with a single change and that is the change in transmission. Rest of the features remains the same as they are in the manual Tata Nexon. In terms of Looks, the Automatic Nexon looks almost same like the regular variants. The new Nexon comes with an Etna Orange paint scheme and with a sonic silver dual tone roof. Tata Nexon AMT will have 6-speed automatic transmission.
The new Tata Nexon automatic hyperdrive is the first automatic car to come with different drive modes. The car comes with ECO drive mode, City Drive mode, and Sports drive mode. These modes are similar to the modes present in the manual transmission Tata Nexon. The car will also have a Manual Tip Tronic feature. With this features, you can change the gears manually without the clutch. This mode is also present in Maruti Suzuki Automatic variant cars.
The car also comes with features like anti stall, kick down feature, fast off feature, creep function ad Smart Hill Assist. There is o other change in the specifications of the Nexon AMT. The car comes with a 1.5 litre turbocharged engine and it produces a maximum power of 108.5 bhp and 260 Nm peak torques. Tata Nexon comes with dual front airbags and ABS with EBD.
The price of Tata Nexon starts from Rs.6.29 lakhs for the XE variant. The diesel variant of the Tata Nexon starts from Rs.7.32 Lakh. The dual tone XZ Plus Tata Nexon Price is Rs.9.11 lakh and the price of XZ Plus Diesel Dual Tone is Rs.9.88 lakhs. The petrol variant of the Tata Nexon comes with a 1198cc engine while the diesel variant comes with a 1497cc engine.
