Tata’s Nexon the sub-compact SUV is hogging the headlines ever since its unveiling at the Auto Expo 2016. With 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.2-litre petrol engines, Tata’s new offering Nexon is going to be the most powerful sub-compact SUV in India.
Due to Tata Nexon’s contemporary styling and premium appearance, it has become one of the vehicles that everyone is curiously waiting for.
What makes Tata Nexon the best?
The engine setup of Tata Nexon makes it one of the strongest contenders in the segment. The company believes that the 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel engines that will power the Tata Nexon is going to make this new Tata baby the most powerful in the compact sub-four meter SUV segment. After the launch it is also believed that the Tata Nexon is going to compete with the segment leaders such as Maruti Vitara Brezza, Mahindra TUV 300 and the Ford EcoSport. What seems to be an addition for Tata’s Nexon is its exquisite designing.
Launch date of Tata Nexon
While all the SUV enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the Tata Nexon to hit the roads, there is no official announcement of the launch of the Tata Nexon. As per the reports (Auto Portal) the Tata Nexon (Diesel) is going to hit the market in a month or two. Tata Motors has already launched three cars in 2017 and is all set to capture the sub-compact SUV segment with the launch of Tata Nexon. This year Tata has already launched Tata Hexa, Tata Tigor and the Tata Tiago AMT in India till now. Adding on to this, the launch of the petrol variant is unclear.

As of now there is no official announcement of the features of the Tata Nexon. Nevertheless, the exterior, interior and safety features of the Tata Nexon may depend on the base to top variant options.
