The Great Indian Laughter Challenge to have Sajid Khan and Shreyas Talpade as new mentors. The Great Indian Challenge kicked off recently on the Star Plus channel but couldn’t gain TRPs as anticipated by the show makers. In spite of Akshay Kumar hosting the show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge couldn’t see the light of the day.
Sajid Khan & Shreyas Talpade new mentor on Great Indian Laughter Challenge
The show makers of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge are now eyeing on the film directors- cum-actors Sajid Khan and Shreyas Talpade entry onto the show. Their experiences in comedy and mentoring of new stand up comedians on the show are speculated to draw the TRP. The last season of the television’s reality comedy show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge was a huge hit, as the program that aims at discovering a new standup comedian as the winner every year managed to gather adequate TRPs. Sajid Khan, who is a Bollywood actor and director, has given comedy movies like Hey Baby, Houseful franchise, Himmatwala & Humshakals. Whereas, Shreyas Talpade, who has recently made his directorial debut with the movie, Poster Boys starring Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol is known for his movies like Iqbal, Dor, Golmaal, Apna Sapna Money Money, Om Shanti Om and many others.
Mallika Dua, Zakir Khan & Hussain Dalal out from show
The Youtubers, Mallika Dua, Zakir Khan and Hussain Dalal are no more part of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge as they could not manage to create their same magic on television as on their digital channel. In fact, the channel, as well as the producer of the show, held them responsible for not mentoring the contestants on The Great Indian Laughter Challenge show. The stand-up comedian contestants will now be nurtured and groomed by Sajid Khan and Shreyas Talpade.
Mallika Dua, who is better known as Shagun Di and Makeup wali didi amongst her fans could not do much to save the dipping TRP rate of the television reality comedy contest, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. Her co-mentors on the show, Zakir Khan is also very famous as ‘Sakht Launda’ on Youtube and has a great fan following on social media.
Let’s hope that the changing of the judges on The Great Indian Laughter Challenge could do any good to the show, or the channel and show makers should understand that this year’s season is the dusk of their concept.
