This Garden Won The Best Garden Award in Panchkula

Chandigarh is also known as the city of gardens and the city has won accolades in maintaining greenery across the tricity.

The Gurukul School Panchkula is one institution that is not only known for its quality education system but also for having lush green garden area. This is the reason why the school has won the ‘The Best Maintained Garden in a School’ award for the 15th time in a row.

The Award

Located amid the busiest Sector 20, Panchkula, The Gurukul School has bagged the title of the best garden in the ongoing ’31st Spring Fest-2017′.

The spring fest is the annual flower festival of Panchkula, organized by the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) every year. Like all the previous years, the students of the school’s ECO Club used the signature ‘Green Class’ of The Gurukul with ‘student dolls’ adding flair to different corners of the garden. The lush green garden, floral curtains created on the walls, exotic variety of flowers are simply amazing.

Major attractions of the garden 

The students have set up floral curtains on the walls with an exotic variety of flowers, cactus, and succulent plants, creating a landscape in the lush green garden. To add to this, they have made an artificial waterfall that resulted as a visual treat to one and for all who had come to attend the fest.

The principal of the school, Harsimran Kaur is happy with the performance of her school and takes pride to have participated in the fest and won the best garden title for the 15th time in a row.

The Gurukul School is known for its greenery and polythene-free campus and has a well-maintained garden.
