With all the ongoing speculations about what is happening, who is working, who is leaving and what is the exact scenario on the sets of India’s favourite show – The Kapil Sharma Show post strained relations of Kapil Sharma with co-actor Sunil Grover, the latest buzz that has gripped the entire nation and fans worldwide is that there is a new entry in the Kapil Sharma family – Raju Shrivastav !!!
Raju Shrivastav on officially replacing Dr. Mashoor Gulati
Sony TV tweeted on Tuesday hinting at a new entry that is expected to join the show. Later, it was officially announced that Raju Shrivastav is the one that has been finalised. On confirming the same news on Wednesday, Raju said, “Yes, I have started shooting for this show. The channel and the team are happy with the episodes I have shot for them and have called me for more episodes.”
Raju Shrivastav, the former cast with Kapil Sharma on the sets of “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge” a few years back has affirmed to have shot for more episodes not just as a guest entry like in the previous episode.
About the Tension
The incident is counted back to the day when the duo Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover had a bitter fight while travelling back on a flight from Australia. Kapil Sharma in an inebriated state under the effect of alcohol physically and orally abused Sunil Grover and other team mates for having their meals before him. He even went on to state that all other characters mint money by dressing up like women by looking down upon them.
Sunil Grover as a consequence left the show and chose to remain silent on the incident. The show had to be aired and needed replacement for Sunil for which Raju had been called upon.
What is Rinki Bhabhi doing now ?
Sunil Grover is popularly known to play the character of Dr. Mashoor Gulati among others like Rinki Bhabhi, Gutthi etc, did not return on the sets for the shoot even after Kapil’s open apology to him on social media platform Twitter. The shoot for some episodes with the team went without Sunil Grover and temporary replacements like Sunil Pal, Raju Shrivastav and Ehsaan Quereshi were called to execute the shoot making the show suffer low TRP’s.
On being asked on the issue, Sunil said, “At present, I am focusing on live shows and nothing else. I am also not talking to any other channel.” Furthermore, he has denied any association with the show and his plans to come back to the same.
