Karan Johar laid the plot of an interesting story titled as ‘Student Of The Year’ 5 years back and announced the second edition of the movie last year thus announcing Tiger Shroff’s entry in the ‘coolest school ever’. Recently, Karan Johar took to the micro blogging site – Twitter to announce ‘Student Of The Year 2’s’ direction which is all set to go on the floors in 2018 and will be directed by the ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ director Punit Malhotra. The poster of ‘Student Of The Year 2’s’ poster was shared by Karan Johar which sees the Young Bollywood blood – Tiger Shroff in an oh-so-cool avatar.

Karan Johar who directed the prequel titled as ‘Student Of The Year’ shared the first poster of the sequel that is ‘Student Of The Year 2’s’ on his official twitter account. The prequel launched 3 new faces in the Bollywood industry namely Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra who by now are established faces in the industry. The sequel witnesses Jackie Shroff’s son Tiger Shroff in the lead role who is more than happy after receiving admission in the ‘coolest school ever’.
The Bollywood Industry is currently being rule by the young generation and Tiger Shroff is one of them. The shooting for ‘Student Of The Year 2’s’ is scheduled in 2018 owing to Tiger’s ongoing busy schedule. Whereas, as per the inside reports, the makers of ‘Student Of The Year 2’ which is being directed by Punit Malhotra are still in search of the leading lady in the film. Reports say that 2 actresses are likely to be casted in ‘Student Of The Year 2’ namely Ananya Pandey who is the daughter of actor Chunkey Pandey & Disha Patani who is the rumoured girlfriend of Tiger Shroff.

Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions has a keen connection with ‘Student Of The Year’ and therefore, Karan Johar took a step forward and himself promoted the poster of the sequel. This is the first time actor Tiger Shroff will be seen working with Karan Johar. Also, Punit Malhotra in his previous works has only worked with Imran Khan; directing Tiger on-screen will be something new for him.
