TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) has released the official notification and invited online applications for the various posts. TNPSC Recruitment 2018 – All Details
The procedure of filling the application form started online on the official website on 26th November 2018. The last date to fill the application form for the TNPSC Recruitment 2018 is 24th December 2018. The last date to pay the examination fee for the TNPSC recruitment 2018 is 27th December 2018.
As per the official notification released by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, the exam will be held on 2nd March 2019. There will be two shifts for the examination. The timings for the first shift examination is 10 Am to 1 pm and the timings for the 2nd shift of examination is 2:30 pm to 4:30.
According to the official notification released by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, there are total 41 vacancies. These vacancies are for the post of Principal, Industrial Training Institute / Assistant Director of Training and for Assistant Engineer Posts. For the Principal, Industrial Training Institute / Assistant Director of Training, there are total 9 vacancies. For the Assistant Engineer posts, there are 32 vacancies.
The candidates applying for the vacancies in TNPSC will have to pay the one-time registration fee of Rs 150. The candidates who have registered already within the validity period of 5 years are exempted from paying the application fee. For all the candidates who are applying for the post of Assistant Engineer (Industries) will have to pay application fee of Rs 150. The candidates who are applying for both the post of Assistant Engineer (Industries) and Industrial Training Institute / Assistant Director of Training will have to pay Rs 200 as application fee. The candidates of SC/ST and PH category are exempted from paying the application fee.
There will be two papers for the selection of candidates. Paper will be Subject Paper and the duration of the exam will be 3 hours. The maximum marks will be 300. Paper 2 will be of General Studies. the duration of Paper 2 will be 2 hours and the maximum marks for this section will be 200. Lastly, the interview will be conducted which will be of 70 marks.
