The British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has completed its four years in India. Triumph is all set to launch four new motorcycles in the country in 2018. The British motorcycle maker is known for its cruiser bikes and adventurer tourer motorcycles. The upcoming motorcycles to be launched in 2018 belongs to both these segments.
The Classic Cruiser Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster
The first motorcycle expected to be launched in 2018 is the Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster. The motorcycle is similar to the Bober launched in 2016 in India as it will come with the same engine that is given in the Bobber and Thruxton. Bonneville Speedmaster will be powered by the 1200cc twin engine that churns out a power of 77 PS and a peak torque of 106 Nm. Featured with all the features like traction control, cruise control and ABS required in a high power bike, Bonneville Speedmaster is expected to be priced around Rs.11 lakh.
The Black Addiction with Triumph Bobber Black
The Triumph Bobber Black is an updated variant of Bobber motorcycle launched last year. Bobber Black will be powered by the same 1200cc engine Producing 77 PS power and 106 Nm of torque. Bobber black the updated version of Bobbe will be featured with features like front dual disc brakes, bigger front forks, LED headlamp with DRL and a matte black finish. Triumph is likely to launch the motorcycle in the mid of 2018 at a price around Rs.11 lakh.
Royal Enfield Continental GT Rival Triumph Tiger 800
Triumph Tiger 800 was showcased by the company in the EICMA 2017. The bike has received multiple updated features last year including a new 800 cc engine that produces more torque, updated suspension, and a new digital instrument cluster. Triumph is expected to launch the Tiger 800 in India in June 2018 and will be priced a bit higher due to updated features. The bike may rival the likes of recently launched Royal Enfield Continental GT 650.
Adventure Tourer Triumph Tiger 1200
Triumph Tiger 1200 is an updated version of the Tiger Explorer and will be launched with many updated features. It weighs a little lighter than the previous version due to the new lighter swingarm. The bike will be powered by a three-cylinder 1200cc engine. Tiger 1200 will come with an updated suspension system and a new digital console and will be priced around Rs.19 lakh in India.
