The bike was initially going to be named TVS Akula 310 RR and was a result of a joint venture between the BMW and TVS Company. It was later renamed to TVS Apache RR 310 and shares DNA with the BMW G310R which is essentially the same bike with BMW branding.
The new Apache RR 310 gets a 313cc engine developed by BMW and TVS which makes a 34.2BHP of power along with 28nm of torque. The bike gets TVS racing branding on the engine and sides and rightly so as RushLane reports that a 0-60 km speed is achieved in 2.9 seconds.
