A new model in the TVS Apache lineup is speculated to be launched in India soon. As per the report, TVS is soon going to launch the TVS Apache RR310 S later in December this year. The launch date has not been mentioned in the report, but it has been reported that two-wheeler maker TVS will launch the new TVS Apache RR310 S in the month of December this year.
New TVS Apache RR310 S to be launched in India next month
If the report is to be believed, two-wheeler maker TVS is all set to introduce a new model in India – TVS Apache RR310 S. The automaker is likely to introduce the new model in India in December 2017. It is being speculated that the new TVS Apache RR310 S is going to be the most expensive bike that the automaker has ever sold in the Indian market.
Engine and Price of the new TVS – Apache RR 310 S
As mentioned in the report, the TVS – Apache RR 310 S which is expected to be launched with a price tag of Rs around 1.8 lakhs. With a price tag between 1.8 lakh to 2 lakh the Apache RR 310 S is going to be company’s most expensive bike in India.
The Apache RR 310 S is likely to get a powerful 310cc four stroke engine. The engine currently powers the BMW G310R and will be a borrowed engine. Fuel injection and liquid cooling will be standard but the engine will have four valve head with twin camshafts. The engine is expected to churn out a peak power of 33 Bhp with peak torque of approximate 28 Nm. The petrol unit is expected to come mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox.
Specifications of the new TVS – Apache RR 310 S
The new TVS Apache RR310 S will be offered with tubeless tyres fitted on alloy wheels. Disc brakes will be offered on both wheels that will come with ABS (anti-lock braking system) option.
It has been reported that the new TVS Apache RR310 S will get a new trellis frame. It will be for the first time that TVS will be offering such a frame on its motorcycle. Besides being the costliest TVS bike in India, it will also be company’s fastest bike. The TVS Apache RR310 S will be able to achieve a top speed of over 160 Kph. Apache RR310 S is likely to rival the KTM RC390.
