TVS Introduces New Syrah Matte Red Colour in Apache RTR 160 And RTR 180 | Check Festive Offers

TVS has introduced Syrah Matte Red Colour in Apache RTR 160 and RTR 180 this festive season. The Syrah Matte Red Colour that has been recently introduced by TVS in Apache RTR 160 and RTR 180 was only available on the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V till now. The new matte red shade has now been extended to its smaller siblings TVS Apache RTR 160 and RTR 180 motorcycles.

With an aim to add some style and freshness to its Apache range, TVS Motor Company has introduced the new Syrah Matte Red colour on its Apache models this festive season. According to reports, TVS Motor Company has introduced the new Syrah Matte Red colour on the Apache RTR 180 as well as on RTR 160 motorcycles.

The matte red colour was already available on the TVS Apache lineup on the flagship RTR 200 4V. The colour has been introduced to the smaller offerings in the TVS Apache line-up such as the Apache RTR 180 and the RTR 160. This special colour has been introduced by TVS especially for the festive season.

Besides the new Syrah Matte Red colour that has been introduced on the TVS Apache line-up, TVS has introduced several special editions on its other models such as TVS Star City+, TVS Victor and TVS Jupiter Classic edition.

Other specifications of the Apache RTR 180 and the RTR 160

Apart from new colour scheme- the Syrah Matte Red colour, the TVS Apache RTR 160 and the RTR 180 do not get any cosmetics updates. According to the company, a special pigment has been fused with twin component thermosetting acrylic paint system to create the Syrah Matte Red colour paint in a ‘matte clear’ finish. In addition to the Syrah Matte Red ‘matte clear’ finish, racing stripes have been added to the TVS Apache RTR 160’s fuel tank, while new decals have been added to the TVS Apache RTR 180. The RTR 180 ABS version will also get the new colour scheme- Syrah Matte Red ‘matte clear’ finish.

The mechanicals of both the RTR 160 and the RTR 180 remains same. While the RTR runs on a 159.7 cc single-cylinder engine the RTR 180 is powered by 177.4 cc single cylinder engine. Paired to a 5-speed gearbox the engine unit of RTR 160 makes 15.2 bhp of power and 13.1 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the motor of Apache RTR 180 churns out 17 bhp and 15.5 Nm of torque with the same gearbox.
