TVS Dazz Scooter Spied on Indian Roads | Launch Expected in 2018, Check Features and Price

After the successful launch of TVS Apache RR 310, TVS seems to focus more on the scooter segment as a scooter of TVS was spied testing as a test mule in Hosur. The scooter was TVS Dazz that was spied testing on roads in Hosur where the TVS production unit is located. The spied images were leaked online by a Bike India reader. However, only the side and rear view of the scooter was seen in the images.

The most important noticeable thing that was seen in the spied images was the striking yellow colour of the scooter that may be one of the color options if the scooter gets launched in India. The scooter got a sharp design of tail lamp and clear lens turn indicators. The scooter was first unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016. TVS hinted at the event that it might launch the scooter in 2017.

TVS Dazz Engine Specifications

TVS Dazz was spotted testing for the first time on Indian roads three years ago in 2014. The scooter has already been on sale in other countries. It is sold internationally in two engine options, one with the carburetor and other with fuel injection. The scooter is powered by a 109.6 cc single cylinder air cooled engine. The carburetted unit 8.3 bhp of power and 8.3 Nm of torque while the fuel injected unit produces 8.6 bhp power and 8.7 Nm of peak torque.

TVS Dazz Spotted Features

The scooter, when launched in India, will get the carburetor engine to keep the price low and competitive. Telescopic up front forks were seen on the front suspension unit and a single hydraulic shocker at the rear. Single disc brake was seen on the front wheel and drum brake is given on the rear to handle the braking duties. TVS Dazz if launched in India will be priced at an ex-showroom price around Rs.53000/-.

TVS recently launched its flagship motorcycle TVS Apache RR 310 that is getting a good response from the Indian customers. The bike is priced at an ex-showroom price of Rs.2.05 lakh. TVS has always offered high-quality motorcycles and scooters in India. TVS two-wheelers are known for good mileage and value for money.
