Idea Cellular has launched two new Idea Prepaid plans for the users. These plans are the new plan in the list of plans of Idea and these plans offer extra data with free calls. The two new plans of Idea Cellular are Plan 897 and Plan 1197. Well, these plans are long-term validity plan of Idea in which users will get a validity of 70 days. Both plans are valid for 70 days. Here are the full details of Idea new prepaid plans.
Idea Prepaid Plan 897 Details
This is the first plan which is added to the list or prepaid plans of Idea. Well, this is the revised plan. But now it offers different benefits so considered as the new plan. The plan 897 of Idea offers a total of 140GB 4G data to its prepaid users. The daily data usage limit in the 897 plan of Idea is 2GB.
Apart from data usage the plan also offers unlimited calls. Unlimited calls in the plan include all local, STD and roaming calls. Well, there is a FUP on calls. Users can only call 250 free minutes in a day and 1000 free minutes per week. The validity of the plan 897 of Idea is 70 days. Earlier the similar plan offers 84 days validity.
Idea Recharge Plan 1197 Details
This is also the revised plan and now offers different benefits. The plan 1197 of Idea offers a total of 175GB data. In this plan the daily data usage limit is 2.5GB. This plan offers 500MB extra data per day as compared to Idea 897 plan.
All calls are free in the 1197 Idea Plan but there is a FUP on calls. The daily calling limit in the 1197 plan is 250 minutes and the weekly calling limit in the 1197 plan is 1000 minutes. The plan comes with a validity of 70 days. Earlier this plan comes with a validity of 84 days.
Idea Plan Details
There is one more plan of Idea and that is Idea 697 plan. Thie plan comes with the daily data usage limit of 1.5GB. The validity of this plan is 70 days. All calls in these plans are also free but with daily and weekly calling limit.
Well to make it clear these plans are valid for all 4G users and for non-4G handsets users, the plan offers fewer data. In the plan 697 of Idea, users will only get 6GB data in total, Plan 897 offers 15GB data and plan 1197 offers 30GB data for the same validity.
Jio Plan and Idea Plans Comparison
Well, there is no comparison between these Idea plans and Jio plans. These plans offer 70 days validity. If we compare the 2GB daily data plan of Jio with 70 days validity then the Jio 349 plan offers 1.5GB data for 70 days with free calls and SMS. And Jio 398 Plan offers 2GB data per day at just Rs.398. This is just the half of the price of Idea Cellular plan.
