While America votes in a new President, a city All American Eatery — Uncle Jack’s also held its own version of a mock mini US Presidential poll, replete with a ballot box & associated American election decor.
Said Ankush Arora, Owner of Uncle Jacks & the young Entrepreneur behind the concept, “We held a Mock Election for the US Presidential seat. The idea was to engage Chandigarh residents in a Global affair. This created an educational cum entertainment platform for them. Visitors to the outlet voted for their choice of President from the two options – Hillary Clinton & Donald Trump.”
Later in the day a lucky draw was held in which the name of the draw’s winner was announced. Uncle Jack’s aimed at giving a complete American experience to visitors to the outlet.
Visitors too were excited as they either voted for Republicans or Democrats & got a flavour of the American Elections. The decor at the outlet was themed on the American elections with candidates’ posters giving the place a very real touch of the American hustings.
