UP board examination 2018 is likely to get postponed and the students who are preparing for it are now curious to know when they can expect the reschedule. The state board of Uttar Pradesh, UP Board are planning to reschedule the High School and Intermediate examinations 2018 as the venue of the examination centres are not prepared yet.
Reason for scheduling UP board examination 2018
The reason behind the delay in finalizing the venue for UP Board examination 2018 for high school and intermediate is due to the state’s civic polls. The state board was supposed to finalize the list of examination venues across the Uttar Pradesh for UP Board examination 2018 by November 30, but it has delayed now. Several districts were unable to ready the list of the examination venues.
The district inspectors of schools (DIOS) across Uttar Pradesh were directed to notify objections against the list of examination centres issued initially. Also, they were guided to submit the rectified venue list to UP board on or before November 27, 2017, after getting approved by the district committees. Almost 527 objections were received in Allahabad district complaining about the lack of infrastructure and other facilities in schools that has to be converted into examination centres.

Now the UP Board is planning to reschedule the examination for high school and intermediate and respective efforts are being made by the organizing committee at the district level across the state. All the committee members, as well as the school authorities affiliated to the UP board, are directed to finalize the process as soon as possible so that no further delays can be made in terms of checking the examination papers and declaring of results.
However, if we see the current schedule of the UP Board examination 2018 for high school and intermediate, the papers are supposed to begin from February 6, 2018. The examination for high school is scheduled for 14 days while for intermediate examinations, it is scheduled for 25 days. By now a total of 67,29,540 students have registered themselves to appear for the UP Board examination 2018 out of which 30,17,032 students are registered for intermediate examinations while 37,12,508 are registered for the high school examinations.
