The candidates who want to fill the application form for the post of Constable can now fill and submit their application form online on the website. There are total 49568 vacancies for the post of Constables which will be filled under the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018.
UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018 – Important Dates
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board started the process of filling the application form on 19th November 2018. The Candidates can fill the application form for the post of Constable till the 8th of December. The last date to pay the application fee is 8th December 2018. The admit cards will be available in the last week of December and the exam date is 4th, 5th January.
UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018 – Application Fee, Vacancies, Age Limit & Other Details
The application fee is Rs 400. The application fee is the same for all category candidates and there is no relaxation in the application fee. The payment of the application fee can be done via Credit card, Debit card or via E Challan. The minimum age limit to apply is 18 years and teh maximum age limit is 22 years. There are total 49568 vacancies in UP Police for the post of Constable. These vacancies are for the post of Constable Civil Police and Constable RAC. For the Constable Civil Police, there are 31360 vacancies. For the General category 15681 vacancies, 6585 vacancies for SC category, 627 vacancies for the ST category and 8467 vacancies for the OBC category.
For the Constable RAC, there are total 18208 vacancies. For the General Category, there are 9104 vacancies, 3824 vacancies for the SC category, 364 vacancies for the ST category and 4916 vacancies for the OBC category. All the candidates who want to apply for the post of Constable must have completed 12th class from a recognized board.
For the post of Constable in UP Police, the candidates will be selected on the performance in the written Examination. After the written examination candidates will be called for the Document verification and then the PET (Physical Endurance Test). The online application link is activated on the official website and candidates are advised to fill application forms on or before 8th December.
