UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018: Last month i.e in November 2018, Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board released an official notification regarding the recruitment of candidates for the post of Constable and invited applications for the same. The process of filling and apply online for the UP Police Constable posts also started from November. Now only a few days have left to fill the application form for the posts. The candidates who haven’t applied yet and want to fill the application form are advised that they should fill their application on or before the last date.
UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018 – Last Date and Other Details
Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) started the procedure of filling the application form for the post of Constable on 19th November 2018 and the last date to fill the application form is 8th December 2018. The candidates can fill the online application form till the 8th December and after that, the link will be deactivated.
The application fee is Rs 400. There is no relaxation in the application fee for the reserved categories and the payment can be made via credit card, debit card or via net banking and E-Challan. The last date to make the payment of application fee is 8th December 2018. The last date to make the payment of application fee via Challan is 10th December 2018.
The exam is tentatively scheduled to held in the month of January and the admit card will tentatively be released in the last week of December. The minimum age limit to apply for the post of Constable is 18 years while the upper age limit is 22 years. There is an age relaxation too for the reserved category candidates. According to the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board official notification for the Constable posts, there are total 49568 vacancies in UP Police for the post of Constable. There are total 31360 vacancies for the Constable Civil Police and 18208 vacancies in Constable RAC. These vacancies are further divided into category wise. The minimum educational qualifications are 12th class.
