Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment 2018
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has released the notification and the procedure of filling the application form for the constable posts will begin from 19th November 2018. The candidates can apply online for the post of Constable in Uttar Pradesh Police till 8th December 2018. After that, the link to apply online will be de-activated.
The candidates who are going to apply for the UP Police Constable posts online will have to pay the application fee of Rs 400. There is no relaxation in the application fee, All category candidates will have to pay Rs 400 as application fee. The last date to pay the application fee online is 8th December and the last date to pay application fee offline is 10th December 2018. The admit card will be released soon likely in the last week of December. The tentative exam date is 4th, 5th January 2019.
According to the official notification, the minimum age limit to apply online for the post of Constable in UP Police is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 22 years. For more details regarding age, check the official notification. As per the notification, the minimum education qualification required to apply for the post is intermediate.
There are total 49568 vacancies in UP Police for the post of Constable. For the post of Constable Civil Police, there are total 31360 vacancies. The vacancies are divided as – For General – 15681, For SC – 6585, For ST – 627, For OBC – 8467. For the post of Constable RAC, there are total 18208 vacancies and these are divided as General – 9104, SC – 3824, ST – 364 and OBC 4916. The candidates selected will get a pay scale as per the UP Police Norms.
