UP Police Recruitment 2018: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board has invited applications from the eligible candidates for the various posts (Jail Warder, Constable and Fireman posts). UP Police Recruitment 2018 – Application Fee & Last Date
The online form filling process for the various posts in UP Police has started on 8th December by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board. The candidates can now fill the application form online for the post of Jail Warder, Constable and Fireman post. The last date to completely fill the application form is 28th December 2018.
The candidates applying for the various posts in UP Police will have to pay Rs 400 as application fee. The candidates can pay the application fee via online mode or via E-Challan. The form for the UP Police Recruitment 2018 can be filled on the official website of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB). The official website is www.uppbpb.gov.in. The last date to submit the application fee is 31st December 2018 (Monday).
UP Police Recruitment 2018 – Vacancies & Other Details
As per the official notification released by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board for the selection of candidates for various posts, there are total 5419 vacancies. These vacancies are for the post of Constable (Horse Rider), Fireman and Jail Warder. For the Constable (Horse Rider) post, there are total 102 vacancies out of which 51 vacancies are for General Category, 21 vacancies for the SC category, 2 vacancies for the ST category and 28 vacancies are for the OBC Category.
For the post of Fireman in UP Police, there are 1679 vacancies. Out of these, the vacancies in UP Police for the General Category is 841, For SC category there are 352 vacancies, for the ST category there are 33 vacancies and for the OBC category, there are 453 vacancies. For the post of Jail Warder (Male and Female), there are 3638 vacancies. Out of these vacancies, 1821 are for General Category, 763 are for SC Category, 72 for SC category and 982 are for OBC category.
The candidates who have compelted their intermediate level of exmaination can apply for the post. For the post of Jail Warder Male, the age limit is 18-22 years and for female age limit is 18-25 years. For other posts, the age limit is 18-22 years. Age relaxation is as per the rules.
