Kapil Sharma is trying every bit of his efforts to make his comedy program, The Kapil Sharma Show survive on Sony TV after 4 of its prominent co- artists had made a sudden exit. On one hand, where Kiku Sharda continued to be on the show, on the other hand, the Sony television had signed the contract with Raju Srivastava to become the replacement of those who left the show.
New entrant in The Kapil Sharma Show
Well, too much of your surprise, Kapil is now trying to rope in its old colleagues from the previous comedy show that ran on the similar lines. I hope you must have guessed it by now!!! Yes, it’s Pinky Buaji aka Upasana Singh from ‘The Comedy Nights with Kapil’ on Colors television channel, is making way for herself to the great comedy show. The Nach Baliye season 8 host, Upasana Singh confirmed her entry into The Kapil Sharma Show to various media houses and will play the character of Kapil Sharma’s Masi.
Upasana Singh’s acting stint and her journey as a comedian
Upasana Singh is a well-known actress in the Hindi and Punjabi film industry. Her character of a deaf and mute woman with her single dialogue ‘appa dappa chappa’ in the movie Judai was very liked and remembered by the audiences till date. Apart from this, the actress has even done vernacular movies including Rajasthani, Gujarati, Bhojpuri and various daily soaps.

Sunil Grover who had left The Kapil Sharma show due to his fight with the stand-up Comedian, Kapil Sharma on the flight back from Melbourne, is offered a new show to host by the Sony Television. The rumors are that Ali Asgar, Chandan Prabhakar, and Sunanda Mishra will also be the part of that new show, which is likely to go on air in June this year. Sony television has given this contract to Grover, taking his popularity and demand of the audience into consideration.
