UPPCL Recruitment 2018: In the first week of November, the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited started the process of filling the application form for the post of Assistant Engineer. The candidates who are eligible for the post of AE in UPPCL can fill the application form online on the official website. But before filling the application form candidates are advised to check the details and eligibility criteria in the official notification.
UPPCL Recruitment 2018 – Last Date For Application and Application Fee
As per the notification released by the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited, the last date to fill the form is 30th November 2018. After the last date, the candidates won’t be able to fill the application form. The last date to pay the application fee is 30th November 2018. The UPPCL will release the admit cards for the exam in the first week of December while the exam will be conducted in the second week of December.
The candidates applying for the UPPCL recruitment 2018 will have to pay Rs 1000 as application fee in case of General and OBC category, Rs 700 application fee for SC/ST/Ph category and Rs 10 application fee for the PH category. Candidates can make the payment of application fee via credit card, debit card, net banking or via Challan.

All those candidates who are seeking the facility of the reservation under the UPPCL Recruitment 2018 must clearly mention the category applicable. After the submission of the application form, the candidates will not be allowed to make changes in the application form. So, candidates are advised to fill all the details correctly at the time of filling the application form.
There are total 299 vacancies in UPPCL for the post of Assistant Engineer. These vacancies are for different trade. The vacancies are as follows – 180 vacancies in Electrical trade (General – 132, OBC – 31, SC – 17 and ST – 0), 40 vacancies in Computer Science trade (General – 19, OBC – 14, SC – 06 and ST – 1), 61 vacancies in Electronics and Communication trade (General – 26, OBC – 20, SC – 14 and ST – 1), 18 vacancies in Civil Trade (General – 12, OBC – 5, SC – 1 and ST – 0). The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the written test (CBT) and Interview.
