UPPRPB Recruitment 2018: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has recently released three new notifications for the various posts in Uttar Pradesh Police Department. UPPRPB Recruitment 2018 Application Process to Start Soon

As of now, Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has just released the notification for various posts and as per the official notification, the process of applications for the exam will start soon. The UPPRPB will soon release the notice on the website regarding the starting date of applications. For other updates, candidates are advised to keep a regular look on the website of UPPRPB.

As per the notification, the application fee for the various posts under the UP Police Recruitment 2018 is Rs 400. There is no concession in the application fee for the reserved category candidates. All candidates who are willing to apply for these posts will have to pay the Rs 400 as examination fee.

UPPRPB Recruitment 2018 – Other Important Details

As for as vacancies in UP Police is concerned, there are total 5419 vacancies. These vacancies in UP Police Department are not for one post. These vacancies are for the post of Constable (Horse Rider), Fireman, and Jail Warder. For the post of Constable (Fireman), there are total 102 vacancies which are divided are General 51 vacancies, SC 21 vacancies, ST 2 vacancies, and OBC 28 vacancies.

For the post of Fireman in UP Police, there are total 1679 vacancies. These vacancies are divided as General 841 vacancies, 352 for SC category, 33 for ST category and 453 for the OBC Category. The Jail Warder vacancies are for male and female candidates. For the male candidates, there are total 3012 vacancies (General – 1507, OBC – 813, SC – 632 and ST- 60). For the female candidates, there are total 626 vacancies (General – 314, OBC – 169, SC – 131 and ST – 12).

The minimum educational qualifications to apply for these posts is Senior Secondary or 12th Pass form a recognized board of India. The minimum age limit is 18 years and the upper age limit is 22 years. For the post of the female warder, the upper age limit is 25 years.
