UPSC CAPF Recruitment Exam 2018: ON 25th April UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) released the official notification for the Central Armed Police Force/ Assistant Commandants Exam 2018 on its website. UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2018 Exam – Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written exam followed by PST and Medical Standards. The written exam for the CAPF (Central Armed Police Force) will be conducted by UPSC. The exam will be held on 12th August 2018. There will be two papers in the Written Examination. Both the paper will be held on the same day.
The first paper will begin at 10 am and will conclude at 12 noon. On the same day, the Paper 2 of CAPF exam ofUnion Public Service Commission will start at 2 pm and will conclude at 5 pm. The paper 1 will have questions from general Ability and Intelligence. This exam will be of 250 marks. The paper 2 will have questions from General Studies, Comprehension and Essay. This paper will be of 200 marks.
UPSC CAPF 2018 Exam – PET Test Details
All male candidates will have to complete 100 meters race in 16 seconds and female candidates will have to complete the 100 meters race in 18 seconds. To complete 800 meters race male candidates will have 3 minutes 45 seconds and female candidates will have 4 minutes 45 seconds.
For the Long Jump, male candidates will get 3 chances for a long jump of 3.5 meters and for female candidates 3.0 meters. For Shot Put, male candidates forUnion Public Service Commission CAPF 2018 will have to throw it to 4.5 meters. The shot put weighs 7.26 Kgs. this test is only for male candidates.
UPSC CAPF 2018 Exam – Important Details
Last Date: The online application process for the UPSC CAPF and AC exam 2018 started on 25th April. The last date for the online application for the CAPF 2018 exam is 21st May 2018. All candidates are advised to fill the online application on or before the last date. The admit card for the CAPF exam will be out in the month of July and the exam will be conducted on 12th August.
Application Fee: The application fee is Rs.200 for General and OBC Category male candidates. There is no application fee for the candidates belonging to SC and ST category. Also, there is no fee for women all category for theUnion Public Service Commission (UPSC) CAPF exam 2018. The fee can be paid either by E challan, credit card, debit card or by net banking.
Vacancy: There are total 398 vacancies. These vacancies are for the post of Assistant Commandants in CAPF. In BSF there are 60 posts, CRPF 179 posts, CISF 84 posts, ITBP 46 posts and SSB 29 posts.
