UPSC CAPF Recruitment: Last month i.e on 25th April, Union Public Service Commission released an official notification regarding the UPSC CAPF recruitment 2018. The online application process for the CAPF exam 2018 has started and all interested candidates who want to apply can apply for the same on the official website. UPSC CAPF Exam 2018 – Vacancy Details Department Wise
According to the official notification for the UPSC CAPF exam 2018, there are total 398 vacancies. These vacancies are for the various departments which include, CRPF (Central Armed Police Force), BSF (Border Security Force), CISF (Central Industrial Security Force), SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal) and ITBP (Indo-Tibetan Border Police). In BSF there are total 60 posts, in CRPF there are total 179 posts, In CISF, there are 84 posts, In ITBP, there are total 46 posts and in SSB, there are total 29 posts.
UPSC CAPF Exam 2018 – Syllabus For Exam
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam followed by PET (Physical Efficiency Test). The written exam for the UPSC CAPF recruitment 2018 will be conducted on 12th August. There will be two papers. The paper 1 for the UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2018 will start at 10 am and will end at 12 noon while the paper 2 will start at 2 pm and will end at 5 pm.
The paper 1 will be of 250 marks and it will have questions from General Mental Ability, General Science, Current Events and Internation Importance, Indian Polity & Economics, History of India and Indian and World geography.
Paper 2 will have two parts i.e Part A and Part B. Part A of the paper 2 of UPSC CAPF exam 2018 will have essay questions. It will be of 80 marks. Part two will be of 120 marks and will have questions related to comprehension, language skills, and precise writing.
UPSC CAPF Exam 2018 – Important Dates
The online application process has started from 25th April. The last date to fill the application form for the UPSC CAPF exam 2018 is 21st May. Candidates can pay the examination fee by or before 21st May. The admit card for the UPSC CAPF exam 2018 will be available in the month of July and the CAPF 2018 exam is scheduled to be held on 12th August 2018.
