UPSC CDS 2018 Exam Last Date to Apply 4 December | Here’s All You Need to Know

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Combines Defense Services (CDS) 2018 invites application from the candidates applying for the Indian Naval Academy, Indian Military Academy, Officers’ Training Academy or the Air Force Academy. The online application for the UPSC CDS 2018 will end on December 4, 2017. Candidates interested to apply for the UPSC CDS 2018 can only do it until 6 pm on December 4 on the official website of upsconline.nic.in.

UPSC CDS exam is one of the most prestigious and toughest all India level recruitment training examination that is held every year. Candidates from all across India participate in this examination and are then sent for training in any of the above-mentioned academies of the armed forces, who later become soldiers protecting the motherland. The selection process to qualify the UPSC CDS 2018 will comprise of written examination followed by an interview.

UPSC CDS 2018 application process

Those interested in applying for the UPSC CDS 2018 exam should fall into the eligibility criteria along with the apt educational qualification as per the requisites. Candidates are also suggested to go through the advertisements in detail and fill up the application form carefully. Also, candidates should prepare themselves mentally as well as physically to appear for the UPSC CDS 2018 written exam and the physical test. Those who shall not be fit physically and will not score well in the exam will be straight away rejected from the UPSC CSD 2018 application process.

UPSC CDS 2018 exam eligibility criteria

Talking about the eligibility criteria of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Combined Defense Services (CDS), the candidate should be an Indian citizen and should fulfill the required age limit. No female candidates can apply for the Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy or for the Indian Military Academy. Female candidates can only apply for the short service commission at the Officers’ Training Academy. Students in their final year can also apply for the UPSC CDS 2018 but they will have to present the proof of their degree along with the mark sheet at the time of joining the training at any of the above-mentioned training academies. Once the candidates qualify their written and the interview round, the final results will be released.
