UPSC CDS Exam 2019 | 10 Days Left For Online Applications, Apply Before 26th November

UPSC CDS Exam 2019: The Union Public Service Commission is currently accepting online applications from the candidates for the Combined Defence Services Examination I 2019. The candidates who want to apply for the UPSC CDS Exam 2019 can fill their application form online on the official website of UPSC. The last date to apply is coming near. The link for the online applications will be deactivated next week. Here are the details.

UPSC CDS Exam 2019

On the 31st October, the Union Public Service Commission released the notification regarding the CDS Exam (Combined Defence Services Examination). The procedure of filling the application form also started on the same date. The interested candidates can now fill the form till 26th November 2018. After 26th November, the link to apply online will be deactivated.

Union Public Service Commission conducts the Combined Defence Services Examination twice in a year. And this online application process is for the CDS I exam 2019. In the month of February 2019, UPSC will conduct the CDS I Exam. Before applying online for the CDS Exam, candidates must ensure their eligibility for the exam. If the candidates are eligible for the exam, then they can fill the application form online at upsconline.nic.in

The Union Public Service Commission will release the admit cards for the exam three weeks before the examination i.e candidates will be able to download the admit cards in the month of January 2019. CDS exam is an objective paper and there will be negative marking for the wrong answer. Candidates applying for the IMA, INA and AFA will have to give 3 papers while there will be 2 papers for OTA.

For the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy, there will be papers from subjects English, General Knowledge, and Elementary mathematics. For the OTA, there will be English and General Knowledge paper. Duration of each paper will be 2 hours.

For the General and OBC category candidates, the application fee is Rs. 200.  For the female candidates and the candidates of SC/ST category, there is no application fee. The fee can be paid via online or challan. As per the Union Public Service Commission notice, there are total 417 vacancies this time.
