UPSC CDS Exam 2019 Official Notification To Be Released This Month | Check All Details

UPSC CDS Exam 2019: The Union Public Service Commission will release the official notification for the Combined Defence Services Exam for the upcoming year 2019 this month. As per the official examination calendar of UPSC, the notification for the exam will be out in the end of October 2018. The process of application will also start from the same date. Here are the details of the exam.

UPSC CDS Exam 2019 – Application Starting Date and Last Date

According to the examination calendar for the year 2019 released by Union Public Service Commission, the official notification the UPSC Combined Defence Services Exam I will be out on 31st October 2018. The process of filling the application form will also start from the 31st of October 2018.

The last date to fill the application form for the CDS Exam I 2019 is 26th November 2018. Once the official notification will out candidates are advised to fill the application form on or before the last date. To avoid last minute rush, candidates are advised to fill the application form before waiting for the last date. The exam date for the CDS I 2019 exam is 3rd Feb 2019.

UPSC CDS Exam II 2018 Exam Date

This year Union Public Service Commission will conduct the UPSC Combined Defence Services Exam II 2018 in the month of November 2018. The exam date for the CDS II 2018 exam is 18th November 2018. UPSC released the official notification for the CDS 2 Exam 2018 on 8th August 2018 and the last date to fill the application form was 3rd September 2018. As per the CDS 2 2018 official notification, there are total 414 vacancies. These vacancies are for the IMA, INA, AFA, and OTA.

UPSC CDS Exam (Combined Defence Services Exam)

Every year, the Union Public Service Commission conducts the UPSC Combined Defence Services Exam twice.  The exam is conducted for the selection of candidates for the post in Indian Military Academy, Air Force Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and OTA.

The candidates of General Category will have to pay Rs 200 as examination fee. The fee is the same for the OBC Category candidates too. The other categories including female candidates are exempted to pay the fee.
