UPSC CDS Exam: Union Public Service Commission will release the official notification for the UPSC CDS Exam (Combined Defence Services Examination). The official notification will be released for the UPSC CDS Exam (I). The candidates who are preparing for the Combined Defence Service Examination 2019 can fill the application form once the process will start online. Here are the complete details regarding the exam.
UPSC CDS Exam (I) 2019 Official Notification Release Date
According to the official examination calendar of Union Public Service Commission for the year 2019, the Commission will release the official notification for the Combined Defence Services Examination (1) on 31st October 2018. The filling of the application form for the exam will also start from the same date. The last date to fill the application form is 26th November 2018. The exam date for the CDS Exam (I) is 3rd February 2019.
The application fee for the CDS Exam is Rs 200 for the General and OBC Category candidates. Rest of the category candidates are exempted from paying the application fee for the exam. The fee can be paid via Challan, Credit or Debit cards or via Net banking.
UPSC CDS (II) Exam 2018 Exam Date & Admit Card Release Date
On 8th August 2018, the Union Public Service Commission released the official notification for the UPSC CDS (II) Exam 2018. The procedure to fill the application form for the exam started on the same date and now the exam date is coming near. The exam date for the CDS II 2018 is 18th November 2018. The admit cards for the exam will be out in the first week of November.
As per the notification released by the Union Public Service Commission for the CDS 2 Exam 2018, there are 414 vacancies that will be filled by the Commission. These vacancies are for the Indian Military Academy Dehradun (100 vacancies), Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala (45 vacancies), Air Force Academy Hyderabad (32 vacancies), OTA Chennai (225 vacancies) and OTA Chennai SSC Women (12 vacancies).
Union Public Service Commission conducts the Combined Defence Services Exam every year. The exam is conducted twice in a year. Next year, the CDS (II) Exam notification is scheduled to be out on 112th June 2019 and the procedure will also start from the same date. the last date to fill the application form will be 8th July and exam date is 8th September 2019.
