Releasing details about the schedule and exam date of UPSC Civil Services 2017 Mains Exam in October this year, the anxiety of many has come to an end with the UPSC’s latest release online. Held on June 18, 2017 this year, UPSC Civil Services 2017 Prelims exam result was declared on July 27, 2017. Post the result declaration, candidates who are shortlisted via the UPSC Civil Services 2017 preliminary examination are required to complete some formalities like filling up a DAF form online to appear for the UPSC Civil Services 2017 Mains Exam. UPSC Civil Services 2017 Mains | E-Admit Card
The e-admit card for the UPSC Civil Services 2017 Mains Exam shall be uploaded on the Commission’s website at upsc.gov.in atleast a fortnight prior to conducting the examination. Candidates shall be notified to download the same as hall tickets along with photographs and an original Identity proof with DOB preferably Aadhar Card is mandatory for candidates to appear for the UPSC Civil Services 2017 Mains Exam in October this year. The admit cards shall only be available in an online mode at around mid-October 2017 this year which can be accessed by submitting the Registered ID and password at UPSC website allotted to candidates while they were applying online for the UPSC Civil Services 2017 Exam this year.
UPSC Civil Services 2017 Mains Exam Schedule
The exam dates for the UPSC Civil Services 2017 Mains Exam has the prescribed schedule for all the papers of the UPSC IAS 2017. The schedule declared has ‘Essay Exam’ under UPSC Civil Services 2017 Mains Exam on October 28, 2017 while on October 30, 2017, the Commission shall take the General Studies Paper 1 & 2 exam. The schedule for UPSC Civil Services 2017 Mains Exam on October 31, 2017 has GS paper III & IV while languages examination under UPSC Civil Services 2017 Mains Exam will be held on November 1 this year sub divided into Paper A & B for various languages categorised under these heads in the morning and afternoon sessions respectively. Some optional examinations schedule for the UPSC Civil Services 2017 Mains Exam would be held on November 3, 2017 this year for which students are requested to go through the detailed notification for the same as released online by UPSC.
The UPSC IAS 2017 Mains examination shall be conducted in two shifts namely Morning and Afternoon shifts wherein the timings for the same are 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm respectively.
