UPSC Civil Services 2018 Exam on 3rd June – No Paper Admit Cards This Time

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the year 2018 preliminary exam has decided not to issue a paper admit card to the candidates. Although earlier UPSC uses to send admit cards for the same on the mentioned address on the candidate’s application form. But now the commission is all set to make it online for the UPSC civil services exam candidates appearing in June 2018.

In the do’s & don’t list of UPSC civil services exam 2018, it has been clearly mentioned that the candidates will not be issued with a physical form of the admit cards. UPSC Prelims Exam 2018: No Paper Admit Cards for the Candidates

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has abolished the issue of paper admit cards for the candidates appearing for prelims exam 2018. Candidates will have to download the e-admit cards as already uploaded by the commission on the official website. Students can download their admit cards from UPSC official website i.e upsc.gov.in.

It may be noted that the candidates also have to take a print out of the admit cards for the UPSC civil services exam 2018. It has to be shown during the exam to the invigilator. Also, it has been adviced to take your admit card print out prior – to avoid last minute of rush during UPSC Prelims exam 2018.

Here are some more instructions pointed by the Union Public Service Commission 2018 for the candidates of Prelims exam-

If the admit card is not clear, blurred or not available on the website, the candidate must carry their identity proof to the exam hall for the same. In case of any discrepancy on the e-admit card issued by UPSC, one must get back to uscsp-upsc@nic.in regarding the issue.

Candidates must reach the exam centre of UPSC, 10 minutes before to the exam time. Using any electronic items like- mobile, Bluetooth, calculator, camera & other things have been banned.
