UPSC Civil Services: On the 23rd of June, the Union Public Service Commission started the process of filling the DAF (Detailed Application Form) for the Civil Services Mains Exam. Now the last date to fill the DAF is coming near and candidates who have qualified the Prelims Exam of UPSC Civil Services are advised to fill the DAF as soon as possible.
According to the official notification regarding DAF for the Civil Services Mains Exam 2018, the last date to fill the DAF is 6th August. Candidates can fill and submit the DAF till 6 pm August 6th. Along with the notification for the DAF, the Union Public Service Commission has also released the important instructions for the candidates for the filling of the DAF for Civil Services Mains Exam 2018.
UPSC Civil Services Mains Exam 2018 DAF Process
Union Public Service Commission will conduct the Civil Service Mains Exam 2018 from 28th September. The Commission will release the timetable for the Examination along with the admit card for the exam. The Civil Services Mains Exam will be conducted in the 24 examination centres. Candidates will have to fill the DAF in order to appear in the Civil Services Mains Examination 2018. The DAF for the Civil Services Mains Exam can be filled on the official website of UPSC. Here are the steps:
– Visit the official website www.upsc.gov.in
– Now Click on the UPSC DAF For Civil Services Exam in the Whats New Section
– A new page will open. Read all details including instructions and notification
– Click on the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2018
– A new page will open. Enter all details (Log In Id and Password) and click on Login
– Now fill the DAF and make payment.
UPSC Civil Services Exam 2018
In the month of February, the Union Public Service Commission released the official notification for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2018. The online application process for the same started form 7th February 2018. The online application process for the UPSC Civil Services Exam closed on 6th March. The UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam was conducted on 3rd June 2018.
The Civil Services Exam consists of two stages – Prelims Exam and the Mains Exam. The Prelims Exam is an objective type examination and candidates qualifying the Prelims exam will go for the Mains Exam. The Mains Exam of UPSC Civil Services consists of Written & Interview and candidates who qualify the Mains exam will be selected for the various posts and Services.
