UPSC Civil Services Mains exam 2017 has released the detailed application form i.e. DAF for candidates today online. The Mains exam of UPSC IAS 2017 is nearing the corner and the candidates who have been shortlisted via the prestigious UPSC Civil Services prelims exam 2017 are all eligible to appear for the next level of the same. UPSC Civil Services Mains exam 2017 also, in short, called as the UPSC IAS 2017 is scheduled to be held on October 28, 2017, this year.

Candidates who are eligible for the UPSC Civil Services Mains exam 2017 this year have to complete some set of formalities demanded by the Commission before they are declared “eligible” in real sense to appear for the UPSC IAS 2017 Mains examination. Releasing an official notification pertaining to the UPSC Civil Services Mains exam 2017, the Union Public Service Commission has released “Detailed Application Form” abbreviated as DAF online today. Making the DAF available for the candidates to be submitted online with effect from August 18, 2017 to last till August 31, 2017, aspirants are advised to fill in the requisite details and submit the same well in advance to avoid hassles in appearing for the UPSC Civil Services Mains exam 2017 in October this year.

UPSC IAS 2017 | How To Fill DAF Online

Candidates are required to submit the DAF online for appearing into the UPSC Civil Services Mains exam 2017. The forms are readily available on the official website of the Commission which is the conducting authority of Civil Services Mains exam 2017 this year. Candidates shall submit their requisite details asked in the form and upload scanned copies of the documents required. Aspirants of the UPSC Civil Services Mains exam 2017 shall have to submit their order of preferences for the posts for which they are likely to be considered at their discretion in the UPSC Civil Services DAF for the Mains examination this year in October 2017.

Candidates even have to pay a nominal fee of INR 200 either in online or offline mode to submit their applications for appearing for the UPSC Civil Services Mains exam 2017 online. The fee payment can be done via Netbanking, or debit/credit or rupay card in the online mode or via generating the SBI Challan and submitting it in any SBI Branch the following working day in cash.
