UPSC CMS 2018 – Important Dates

The online application process for the UPSC CMS 2018 exam has started. All interested candidates who want to apply for the CMS exam 2018 can now apply online on the Website of UPSC. The last date for the application process is 25th May 2018. The last date for the payment of Application fee is 25th May. The admit card for the CMS 2018 exam will be out in the month of July and the exam date for the CMS exam is 22nd July 2018.

UPSC CMS Exam 2018 – Vacancies, Salary & Application Fees

There are total 454 vacancies in UPSC. These vacancies are for the post of Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways, Asst. Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services and Junior Scale Posts in the Central Health Services. For the post of Junior Scale Posts in the Central Health Services, there are total 138 posts. For the post of Asst. Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services, there are total 16 posts and for the post of Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways, there are 300 posts. Selected candidates will get a pay scale of Rs.56,100 – 1,77,500 per month.

Application Fees: The application fee for the UPSC CMS exam 2018 is Rs.200 for the candidates belonging to general and OBC category. There is no fee for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH and Women category. Candidates can pay the exam application fee via credit card, debit card or via net banking.

UPSC CMS Exam 2018 – Exam Pattern

The candidates will be selected on the basis of CBT (Computer Based Exam). The exam will be of 500 marks. The exam will be conducted in two objective type papers. Each paper will be of 250 arks. For each paper candidates will get 2-hour duration. After the CBT exam, there will be a Personality Test. The PT will test the knowledge of the candidates in the academic field.
