UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Exam 2018 Details
June 29th Paper – The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist & Geologist Exam 2018 will begin on 29 June 2018. The first Paper will be on June 29th. There will be two sessions. The first will begin 9:00 am and the second one will begin at 2:00 pm. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. In the Paper 1, Paper 1 of General English will be held. In the paper 2, Geology paper 1, Geophysics Paper 1 and Chemistry Paper 1 will be held.
June 30th Paper – On 30th June, there will be two papers and the first one will begin from 9 am and second one will begin from 2 pm. In the Paper 3, Geology Paper 2, Geophysics Paper 2 and Chemistry Paper 2 will be held. The Paper 4 of the of the Combined Geo-Scientist and GeoLogists exam 2018 will be from Geology Paper 3, Geophysics Paper 3 and Chemistry Paper 3.
July 1st Paper – The Paper 5 for the UPSC Geo-Scientists and Geologists will be held on 1st July 2018. This will be from subject Hydrology and there will be only one session and it starts from 9 am to 12 noon.
UPSC Geologist and Geo-Scientist – Important Details Regarding Exam
Candidates who have applied for the post of Geophysicist, Chemist, Geologist and Jr. Hydrogeologist will have to appear for the English Paper which is scheduled to be held on 29th June. Candidates who are appearing for the Chemist, Geophysicist, and Geologist exam will have to appear for the examination which is scheduled to be held on 29th and 30th June.
All those candidates who have applied for both posts ie Jr. Hydrogeologist & Geologist will have to appear in the examination which is scheduled to be held on 29th, 30th June, and 1st July. All those candidates who have applied for only the post of Hydrologist will only have to appear for the 29th June, 30th June (Forenoon session) and 1st July exam.
