UPSC Recruitment 2018: The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) has released the admit cards for the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist exam 2018 on the official website. Candidates can download the admit card for the UPSC Exam 2018 from the official website. The Union Public Service Commission will conduct the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist & Geologist Exam 2018 this month. Here are the details of UPSC Exam Pattern for the Combined Geo-Scientist & Geologist exam.
UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist & Geologist Exam Scheme
The candidates will be selected on the basis of the Written Examination and then the Interview and Personality Test. the First part will be the Written Exam. The Written Exam for the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist & Geologist will have General English Paper and this will be common to all category. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours and maximum marks will be 100.
As per Union Public Service Commission – For the post of Geologist, there will be Geology Paper 1, Geology Paper 2 and Geology Paper 3. All these papers will be of 3 hours duration each and the maximum marks are 200 each. For the post of the geophysicist, there will be 3 papers i.e Geophysics Paper 1 (3 hrs duration), Geophysics Paper 2 (3 hours duration) and Geophysics Paper 3 (3 hours duration). the maximum marks will be 200 marks each.
For the post of Chemist, there will be three papers i.e Chemistry Paper 1, Chemistry Paper 2 and Chemistry Paper 3. These papers will be of 3 hours each and 200 marks each. For the post of Junior Hydrogeologist, there will be three Paper – Geology Paper 1, Geology Paper 2 and Hydrology. The exam duration will be 3 hours each.
Candidates who have applied for the post under Union Public Service Commission will have to appear in the all exam mention against the post. Candidates who have applied for the Junior Hydrogeologist and Geologist will have to appear in all the papers of Post of geologist and Junior Hydrogeologist.
UPSC Recruitment 2018 Admit Cards Out For the Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist
The admit cards for the UPSC Recruitment 2018 (Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist) exam are now available on the website of Union Public Service Commission and candidates who have applied for the dame can download the admit cards from the website. UPSC will conduct the exam from June 29th to July 1st.
